From an idea to a story

The project started with just a seed of an idea “a holistic health product that helps the user through a journey to wellness” and over a few months, we refined what that meant, and how we can represent it, with a fresh perspective, and creatively.

We started with a simple fundamental shape, a + which is often representative of health care, but with a transformation, shaped like a T, the two disconnected pieces are representative of the self reflection that is to be a key part of the product. To grow one must look at themselves objectively.

Once we had the brand logo and colors, we focused on the visual motifs. We wanted the motifs to be a major part of how the brand would be identified.

A very common way of representing wellness is with a connection to nature and having elements which are evocative of a return to nature. We wanted to have a link to that but we did not want to just work with images of nature landscapes. And we wanted also the brand to give a subtle nod to the digital nature of it

What we did want is the emotion of being in nature. The sense of clarity it brings, while still keeping our motifs more about individual elements from nature. And to add a visual uniqueness to it, we started with adding graphic elements in our brand colors. Those two things together really brought in the brand to a space where it felt uniquely ours.

This was a vibrant branding project with a lot of visual elements and storytelling. The effort we put in to find a style that resonated with us paid off in a unique final aesthetic that made the website and the brand stand apart from any of our competitors in the market. This will always be a “close to the heart” kind of project for that reason.
