Divya Tak

After graduating with a Masters in Physics from IIT Kharagpur in 2012, Divya decided to take a detour and self learnt design. Over the next decade or so, she freelanced her way through a lot of different projects, working on a wide variety of problems from illustration & comics to games and products.

At Joyus, Divya brings her fascination with mental models and thinking about things in new ways, and combines it with her artistic sensibilities.

In 2020, she designed and built six games with her sister, Charu Tak. Since 2023, she, along with some incredible people, has been working to build the Generative AI community out of India. In 2024, she was a VFX creative producer for the first Indian film in over a decade that went to Berlinale.


Divya has a keen interest in sharing her knowledge with the world, and to that end she has been an active speaker and panelist at multiple conferences and events. You can find some of her talks here :
